Paintball Group Events Paintball parties are a blast, literally, from:
If you have a group that wants to experience paintball, we can accommodate you. Your four hour paintball experience begins when your group checks into the clubhouse to fill out the appropriate paperwork and get a brief overview of Twin Parks. From there we take a short ride across the 136 acre park to the paintball staging area. At this time you will receive a safety briefing about the local terrain, paintball safety and the rules of the game. Please arrive at least 30 – 45 minutes prior to your scheduled playing time for registration and paperwork. The paintball course consists of 40 acres of open meadows, cedar forests and dry gullies divided into smaller playing fields to offer a wide variety of terrain and game choices. Your party will be divided into teams and play an assortment of games including but not limited too: Capture the Flag, Defend and Attack the Fort and Hunter/Predator. Your paintball games will be directed by referees that are on hand to assist you with equipment, safety and most important playing paintball. Once you are finished with your paintball experience, feel free to relax in the clubhouse and have some refreshments or head out to try the mountain bike trails or the disc golf courses. |

Paintball FAQs Doesn’t it hurt to get shot? The paint pellets break open upon impact, and generally cause very little pain. What pain is experienced is more of a stinging sensation from the pellet's impact against the skin or through clothing. In our experience, the stinging pain goes away after a few seconds. Of course, the closer you are to the muzzle of the marker, the higher the velocity of the pellet when it hits you. Thus, more pain may be experienced when shot at close range rather than farther away. In general, one can count on coming off the field with a few welts from paintball impacts, but your most annoying injuries are more likely to be scrapes and bruises from the local terrain. Can I get the paint out of my clothes? Paint is water soluble and should wash out as normal. Is it safe? Like all action sports (football, basket ball, etc.) paintball has it’s risks unless adequate protection is worn and safety rules understood and followed. All paintball players should wear protective goggles to protect their eyes and usually wear masks covering the rest of their face as well. What do I need to bring? Bring old, sturdy, dark clothes preferably with long sleeves and shoes or boots with some sort of ankle support, shorts can be worn but not recommended. Although the paint will wash out of your clothes, you can expect to get a little bit of mother nature mixed in as well, so bring clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty. Refreshments are available at the clubhouse before and after your paintball experience, coolers of water are at the paintball course, so feel free to bring a cooler with snacks and drinks. However, no outside alcohol is permitted. We have our beer/wine permit, and would be happy to supply your group with beer upon request. Arrangements can be made to have catering, birthday parties or even burgers and beers available at the clubhouse after your event. Please contact the Clubhouse for details and arrangements. Do I need to be physically fit to play? Not really, but it will help. As with all strenuous exercise participants should stretch and warm up before playing. Since typical games require quick sprints followed by a rest having good an-aerobic fitness is beneficial. Players should gauge their play to their level of fitness. All players in poor physical condition or with physically limiting conditions should consult a physician before playing. How much paint will I need? You will receive paintballs with your paid rental package, the amount varies per package. The suggested amount is 500 – 700 paintballs per person for a full four hour session. This amount does vary, depending on how many times you pull the trigger and how fast you are eliminated. Large groups can save money by purchasing paint by the case and splitting the cost among players. Can I purchase paint somewhere else? No! Field Paint Only. This means you can only use paint approved and purchased at the field. This is to control the type of paint used in our rental equipment and on our land. What do I do with my paintballs during play? First, you shoot them at the other team! We are not responsible for missing, lost, stolen, damaged or dumped paint. It is recommended each player bring a small fanny pack or backpack to store paint. There are belts and pods systems available for rent with the packages. How old do I have to be to play paintball? Players must be at least 10 years old, and the safety mask must be able to fit securely. All minors under 18 must have a release of liability form signed by their parent or guardian.
Proper footwear is very important. Some players find that lightweight canvas topped army boots or leather work boots protect feet and ankles in the woods. Other players prefer the support that sneakers give as paintball does involve running. Personal preferences vary, but footwear should not be overlooked. |
